I carried a full 20L Bladder for 20 days from Brisbane to Broome and back via Alice Springs inside my aircraft as backup emergency fuel. We landed at 13 airports so there were always varying air pressure changes as we flew at different heights.

Altitudes varied from 2500 ft to 9500ft.. The aircraft also sat in the hot sun in Broome 32c and in the -3c cold of Alice Springs. At no time was there any fuel odour in the aircraft which really impressed my wife as she has a extremely sensitive nose. I no longer carry 20L Fuel drums in the car to my cattle property because of the light fuel smell she complains about. But with your bladder there was no fuel smell at all. A impressive result.
